Each class has its own blog page which many of the children work on themselves. They enjoy sharing their learning and achievements so please take a look. We have also included resources, links to other websites and some general information that we hope you will find helpful.
We are a Catholic school where children and families of different faiths, nationalities and traditions are welcome. Situated on Ballyfermot Road, St. Gabriel’s is attended by girls and boys aged 4 to 12 from the local area and beyond. We have a preschool on site for younger children. We draw on the combined talents and skills of pupils, staff, parents and the local community, to provide a holistic education for the children in our care. This includes the pupils’ academic, spiritual, moral and physical development. The full primary school curriculum is taught and pupils also participate in an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, many of which are catered for on a voluntary basis by school staff.
We are very fortunate to have an extremely supportive parent body and their representative Parent Association. Parents are also represented through nominees on the school’s Board of Management, the group of people entrusted to run the school.
At St. Gabriel’s we want our children to be happy and confident and share a passion for learning. We strive to make excellent progress and ensure the children reach their potential in an atmosphere of kindness and inclusion.
